Barcelona's newest hotel, The Barcelo Raval, features 2,200 Basotect ceiling baffles made by BASF, the world's leading chemical company. These melamine foam cylinders, suspended from the hotel lobby, possess sound absorption properties improving speech lucidity and reducing noise from the lobby restaurant and bar. This means you can actually catch some quality shut-eye. Nothing worse than someone else's party noise!
