FASHIONCLASH, created by Matylda Krzykowsk and three other friends in the Netherlands, gives voice to young artists/creators sans any fashion background to display their work in a fashion show. The 'Clash' encourages the designers to try their hand at fashion design and provides a platform to present their work to a fashion-related audience. A fresh concept new to the industry, it is fascinating to see how these 'non-fashion designers' employ their design disciplines such as illustration, photography, fine arts, and video into wearable art to be displayed on a model by way of catwalk.
